If you have your Walk to School permission slips please give your slips to your teacher or the office. Slips are due back no later than Wednesday, November 6th. No exceptions.

Homework Club, Knitting Club and Student Council will all meet after school today until 3:20.

There is a mandatory dance club rehearsal after school today.

On Friday, November 8th at 10:00 AM, we will be having a Veterans Day Assembly to recognize local veterans in our community and in our families at ARD.

We will be creating a slideshow to be shown at the assembly to honor those we know who have or currently served in the armed forces. We are inviting our students to ask about any veterans in their family and bring in the information so that each veteran in our community can be honored. Please email photos to Ms. Pham at [email protected] If you had sent in photos last year, we will be using those also.

Please provide the following information with the photograph: Student’s name, name of veteran, relationship to student, war/branch of service, and years. Deadline to send in pictures is Friday, November 1st.

We would also like to invite any veterans and families who may be able to attend our special Veterans Day Assembly.

Cookie Dough fundraisers went out on 10/23 and are due back November 6. This is an 8th grade trip and student council fundraiser and is open to all grades. 8th graders will received 100% of their proceeds towards their 8th grade trip. 5th, 6th, and 7th graders will receive 50% of their proceed put towards their 8th grade trip and the remaining amount will go to Student Council.

8th graders who are planning on attending the out of state class trip, this is a reminder that your next payment is due 10/31.

November 1st there will be a 5th and 6th grade social from 5 – 6 PM and a 7th and 8th grade dance from 6:30 – 8 PM. The cost of both events is $5. Eligibility applies. If you have your permission slip and money, please bring it to the office NOW. This is your last chance for your ticket.

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention awareness campaign. Here at ARD we are going to dress a certain way each day to raise awareness. Please join us in raising awareness.

Dress in pajamas (NO BREAK IN DRESS CODE). Clothing allowed are sweatpants, onesies and T-shirts.
