It has been a big news week and I wanted to get something out before the weekend.
THANK YOU to all the Allenstown voters. Our school budget passed. We are very excited to have music and art 5 days a week next year and we feel very supported in our programming and needs. THANK YOU AGAIN!
This is a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, 3/18/19. It is a professional development day for staff.
On Monday night, the Harriman Group presented the findings from their feasibility study. I have attached all three ARD assessments. You may find the “Allenstown School Board Mtg -2019-03-11” document to be the most succinct and informative. Harriman Group representatives will present again on 4/8 at AES at 6:00 pm. They will be sharing possible future options for the schools.
Trimester 2 grades closed today. Teachers will be entering grades and I will email you on 3/22 to let you know that you can go in the ALMA portal to see the report card.

3/20 – PTO fundraiser at Uno’s (a portion of your check total is dontated to the PTO/schools)
3/22 – Report cards available in ALMA
3/25 is Parent Night for Incoming 9th graders at PA. The Flyer is attached.
3/27 – Cookie Dough fundraiser is due and it benefits student council and the 8th grade trip.
3/28 is the second annual Education Showcase at ARD (flyer attached). There will be lots of student work on display. There will also be community partners attending and clubs/co-curriculars will have displays/demonstrations. There will be a book fair in the library and the school store will be open. PLEASE join us. Last year we have over 200 people attend and the staff and students were so proud to share all that is happening at our school.
