The Covid 19 virus can spread in a rapid way.
If you are new to skiing, you may not feel comfortable going down really steep slopes.
Registration for the Pats Peak Learn to Ski and Ride Program is open! An informational notice has gone home with students and another will be sent next month. If you are interested in registering your child for the Ski and Ride Program, here are some things you should know.
- The program runs for 5 weeks on Fridays, beginning February 18th and ending March 25th. Lessons begin at 3:30. There is free ski time following from 4:30-6:30.
-Unfortunately this year we are not able to offer bus transportation from Allenstown due to the bus driver shortage. Please contact us if you are interested in your child attending so we may see if there is another registered student or family you could connect with to help with transportation needs.
- Currently, there will be chaperones from Allenstown at Pats Peak from 2:45-6:45 each week. You are welcome to drop your student off and pick them back up, stay and watch them, or ski/ride with them! A parent pass is available for an extremely discounted rate of $33 per day. Up to 3 of these can be purchased for any persons accompanying a registered student.
Don't miss this great opportunity to get your child involved in winter sports!
Important notes for Parents
Now that it is winter, please make sure that your child comes to school with a minimum of a**winter coat, hat, and gloves.**When snow is on the ground, students will also need snow pants and boots to play in the snow. All students go outside everyday. If you need assistance with any of these items, please contact Pam Miller at[email protected].
Please remember to call the attendance line before the start of school (485-9574) if your student is going to be absent or late. It is extremely important for us to be able to account for all students ASAP incase of an emergency.
