Scan/Bomb Threat
Scan response action is activated when it is necessary for staff to look around their area for any item which doesn’t belong here. Scan will be activated primarily in the case of a bomb threat, but could be utilized for any situation that required the staff to look for an item which may cause harm.
Procedure- The following procedures will be implemented by staff when directed or when deemed appropriate or necessary by school authorities. When notified staff should;
Look around your room for anything you are unable to identify. Scan:High, Middle and low
Do not move, or touch a suspicious object
Do not use radios or cell phones
If something is found, evacuate to a safer area
Notify the command post of the location and description of the item or that your area is clear
Remain quiet and wait for further instructions

Registration for the Pats Peak Learn to Ski and Ride Program is open! An informational notice has gone home with students and another will be sent next month. If you are interested in registering your child for the Ski and Ride Program, here are some things you should know.
- The program runs for 5 weeks on Fridays, beginning February 18th and ending March 25th. Lessons begin at 3:30. There is free ski time following from 4:30-6:30.
- As of now, there is no bus transportation available from Allenstown. We are still working on it and hoping to be able to offer a bus. If one becomes available, it will be an additional fee to be paid later on.
- Currently, there will be chaperones from Allenstown at Pats Peak from 2:45-6:45 each week. You are welcome to drop your student off and pick them back up, stay and watch them, or ski/ride with them! A parent pass is available for an extremely discounted rate of $33 per day. Up to 3 of these can be purchased for any persons accompanying a registered student.
We are happy to help answer any questions you may have. Feel free to contact Molly Ireland, [email protected] or Brigitte Paquin, [email protected].
