Ski Program Sign-Ups

Registration for the Pats Peak Learn to Ski and Ride Program is open! An informational notice has gone home with students and another will be sent next month. If you are interested in registering your child for the Ski and Ride Program, here are some things you should know.

- The program runs for 5 weeks on Fridays, beginning February 18th and ending March 25th. Lessons begin at 3:30. There is free ski time following from 4:30-6:30.

- As of now, there is no bus transportation available from Allenstown. We are still working on it and hoping to be able to offer a bus. If one becomes available, it will be an additional fee to be paid later on.

- Currently, there will be chaperones from Allenstown at Pats Peak from 2:45-6:45 each week. You are welcome to drop your student off and pick them back up, stay and watch them, or ski/ride with them! A parent pass is available for an extremely discounted rate of $33 per day. Up to 3 of these can be purchased for any persons accompanying a registered student.

We are happy to help answer any questions you may have. Feel free to contact Molly Ireland, [email protected] or Brigitte Paquin, [email protected].

Don't miss this great opportunity to get your child involved in winter sports!

From the Nurses:

We are once again hosting a Flu Shot Clinic in the Allenstown schools. This is offered in cooperation with the NH Immunization Program and your local Public Health Network. The clinic will take place Thursday, October 7, 2021 during the school day and trained medical staff will give the vaccine.

Why sign your child up for this year’s flu clinic?

Your child will be less likely to get the flu and miss school time.

You won’t have to miss work when your child is sick with the flu.

CONVENIENT - It's done at school.

The Flu Shot Clinic will be held at both AES & ARD on Thursday, October 7 during the day. This is FREE for all students and is a great way to keep your child safe. Be sure to fill out the electronic permission slip. Contact your school nurse (D.Schmidt @ ARD & S.Beauchemin @AES) with any questions.

Homework Club is available for students who have homework to complete. They can also complete their daily reading, Zearn/math, etc. Adult(s) will be available to assist students. Please note that this is not an individual tutoring service, it is homework help. Homework club meets every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Permission slips are available in the office.

Please remember to call the attendance line before the start of school (485-9574) if your student is going to be absent or late. It is extremely important for us to be able to account for all students ASAP incase of an emergency.
